On June 6,1978, the plaintiff, Roylie Fon-tenot, filed a pleading styled “Petition to be Restored to Possession” alleging that he possessed as owner a certain tract of land located in Evangeline Parish. He further alleged that the defendant, Donald Chap*DLXXIVman, had erected a fence on the property in question just west of the eastern boundary between the property possessed by plaintiff and the property belonging to the defendant.
