The discoverability of incident reports, by whatever name called, or their functional equivalents, is the issue of the moment in these proceedings. Evelyn G. Benedict was a patient in the Community Hospital of Roanoke Valley from October to December, 1983, having undergone amputation of the left leg below the knee.
