Plaintiff brought suit against the Halsted Exchange National Bank of Chicago, defendant, alleging that it had wrongfully charged the amount of two checks to plaintiff’s deposit account, and upon trial by the court had judgment for $800. Defendant appeals.

Plaintiff’s statement of claim alleged that it was an Illinois corporation; that it opened a checking account with the defendant bank and delivered to it a copy of a resolution adopted by it which authorized the bank to pay out the funds of the plaintiff corporation on deposit with it upon checks “signed in the name of this Corporation by its…
