— Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the County Court, Orange County (Paño Z. Patsalos, J.), rendered October 16, 1990, convicting him of murder in the second degree (four counts) and arson in the fourth degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

Contrary to the defendant’s contention, we find that trial court properly exercised its discretion in denying the defendant’s motion for the preclusion of the People’s witnesses (see, e.g., People v Castillo, 178 AD2d 113, 115-116). Defense counsel was afforded ample opportunity to explain the…
