In January, 1912, A. S. Johnson brought his petition for mandamus against the County of Baker and the commissioners of roads and revenues thereof, to compel the commissioners, to issue a warrant to the treasurer of the county in favor of petitioner for salary claimed to be due him as judge of the city court of Newton by the county, for the year 1911.
