NORDBERG, District Judge.

These consolidated actions seek to recover withdrawal liability under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, 29 U.S.C. § 1001 et seq. (“ERISA”), as amended by the Multiemployer Pension Plan Amendments Act of 1980 (“MPPAA”), 29 U.S.C. § 1381 et seq. Plaintiff Central States, Southeast and Southwest Areas Pension Fund (“Central States”) is a multiemployer plan as defined in 29 U.S.C. § 1002(37)(A). The plan’s trustees are also plaintiffs.
