Plaintiff appeals from a judgment mulcting him heavily in damages for the alleged wrongful attachment of defendant’s property. .

*1341The facts are these:

Defendant was indebted to plaintiff in the sum of five hundred and seventy-two dollars and seventy-eight cents, for which he gave his promissory note. Failing to meet the note at its maturity, or thereafter to arrange for its payment, plaintiff placed the same in the hands of his attorneys for collection.
