Following a bench trial, defendant, Maurice Barfield, was found guilty of the murder and the attempted armed robbery of Maurice Davis. Defendant was sentenced to 66 years’ imprisonment for the murder, and 15 years’ imprisonment for the attempted armed robbery, the sentences to run concurrently.
