MEMORANDUM OPINION

GRADY, District Judge.

This opinion addresses plaintiffs’ motion for class certification. The named plaintiffs in this diversity case are persons suffering from hemophilia and the spouses, guardians and personal representatives of persons who suffer or have suffered from the disease. Hemophilia is a hereditary bleeding disorder in males caused by an insufficiency of certain proteins in the blood which are necessary for coagulation to occur. These proteins are referred to as “Factor VIII” and “Factor IX.” According to the complaint, some 20,000 persons in the United States…
