This action was brought to recover a tract of land of 900 acres, known in the proceedings as the “mill tract.” The case is another phase of a controversy which has been several times in this court, and in order to make it intelligible, it will be necessary to give a short statement of the facts out of which it arises. The land lies in Aiken County, and was once the property of Robert Garvin, who lived there. He is the brother of the plaintiff, John, and the father of the defendant, R. C.
