In an able brief filed on behalf of the defendant it is forcibly urged:(1) That the gas company had only the right of user in the public streets along with all other citizens, and acquired no right of “ownership” or “property” in or to any part of the public streets by virtue of its charter provisions. 2 Dillon, Mun.
