OPINION

WOLIN, District Judge.

This is a trademark and copyright infringement action. Plaintiff Microsoft Corporation alleges that defendants G.D. Systems America, Inc.; Golden Dragon Systems, Ltd. Canada; and Doris Ing (hereinafter “the defendants”) have engaged in the distribution, offer for sale and sale of counterfeit copies of computer software programs protected by Microsoft’s registered trademarks and copyrights.
