Plaintiff in error, who was the defendant in the District Court, was convicted in the Shreveport division of the Western district of Louisiana for a violation of section 225 of the Penal Code of the United States (Act March 4, 1909, c. 321, 35 Stat. 1133 [Comp. St. § 10395]). The defendant was postmaster at Shongaloo, La., at the time of the alleged commission of the offenses charged in the indictment.
