In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, etc., the plaintiffs appeal from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Bungs County (Douglass, J.), dated July 9, 2003, as denied that branch of their motion which was for summary judgment on *389their cause of action alleging a violation of Labor Law § 240 (1) and the third-party defendants Colony Insurance Company, Colony Group, and Front Royal Companies separately appeal from stated portions of the same order.
