After a bench trial defendant, William Snow, was convicted of armed violence (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1981, ch. 38, par. 33A — 2), residential burglary (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1981, ch. 38, par. 19 — 3(a)), home invasion (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1981, ch. 38, par. 12 — 11(a)(1)), and armed robbery (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1981, ch. 38, par. 18 — 2(a)). Defendant was sentenced to concurrent terms of imprisonment of seven years for armed robbery, seven years for home invasion and five years for residential burglary.
