The certiorari in this case brings up for review -the judgment and proceedings in the First District Court of the •city of Newark, wherein a judgment was rendered against the prosecutor on-February 13th, 1888, for $312.45. The suit -was brought in that court under the act of March 27th, 1882. .Pamph. L., p. 195; Rev. Sup., p. 261.
