MONROE, J.
Plaintiff alleges that he was employed by defendants, as a dramatic artist, for the theatrical season of 1904-05, at a salary of $125 a week, and was discharged, without cause, before the expiration of •the term for which he was employed, and he prays judgment for $3,625 as the balance due for the unexpired time. The Baldwin-Melville Company admits that plaintiff accepted an offer of employment, made by it, at a salary of $125 per week, payable weekly, and alleges that he entered upon his employment upon the terms and conditions, and with the understanding,…
