This is an appeal by writ of error, but the parties will be referred to as appellant and appellee. Appellee, Liberty independent school district, which includes the town of Liberty, instituted this suit against appellant, J. F. Richardson, to recovet certain delinquent taxes claimed by appellee against appellant and to foreclose its tax lien against the real property against which the taxes had been assessed. A part of this property is situated wholly within the town of Liberty; the balance, consisting of 684 acres, is situated within the bounds of Liberty independent school district, but…
