This case is before this court for review upon writ of error by defendant from a judgment against it in favor of plaintiff, recovered for personal injuries, claimed to have been caused on account of the negligence of defendant. Defendant company operated a paper box manufactory in Grand Rapids. Plaintiff was first employed by defendant in August, 1908, just after it had met with a fire loss, which necessitated moving temporarily into other quarters.
