In this case, appellant argues that he was awarded insufficient damages in his suit against the United States under the Federal Tort Claims Act, 28 U.S.C. §§ 2671-2680. The appeal is from a judgment of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, Constance Baker Motley, Judge, in the total sum of $182,- 535.15. 1 The case arises from a traffic accident involving appellant’s car and a small truck owned by the United States Government and operated by one of its employees.
