Dora L. and Lyman A. Felver were baron and feme. Defendant is a domestic corporation domiciled in Kansas City in the carrying line, owning and operating a street railway and the cars on Brooklyn avenue, a public thoroughfare of that town. This avenue runs north and south, and between Nineteenth and Twentieth (transverse streets), crosses a bridge known as the Belt Line bridge. On a Saturday, the last day of April, 1904, its car (north-hound, between eight and nine o’clock in the evening) ran down and killed Mr. Felver, a little south of said bridge.
