Schoen v. Schechter

The petitioner’s application for an order under article 78 of the Civil Practice Act was denied on March 19, 1956 (N. Y. L. J., March 20, 1956, p. 7, col. 1), with direction to settle order. Counter orders were not submitted until a year and a half later on October 29, 1957. The application was deemed abandoned and signature was declined pursuant to the Special Rule as to Long Form Order, effective April 19, 1955. (N. Y. L.
