This is a suit in garnishment. The original cause out of which arose this suit and garnishment was filed in the county court at law of Jefferson county, on or about the 28th of December, 1914, by C. L. Freeman, as plaintiff, against Paul A. Luhn, as defendant, to recover certain indebtedness alleged to be due and owing plaintiff by defendant. Plaintiff, in said original suit, filed his affidavit, purporting to be in accordance with statutory requirements, against Port Arthur Rice & Irrigation Company, as garnishee, defendant.
