CROTHERS, Justice.

[¶ 1] Kerry Trottier appeals the district court’s third amended judgment mod*589ifying her visitation and the district court’s order denying an evidentiary hearing on her motion to modify custody. We affirm the modification of visitation, concluding the district court did not err by finding that a material change of circumstances existed and that the best interests of the children are served by modifying visitation. We reverse and remand the denial of an evidentiary hearing on the motion to modify custody, concluding the district court improperly considered its in-chambers…
