Affirming.
The appellant, whom we shall call the defendant, was indicted for the murder of his wife, Maggie Alder. He was convicted, and his punishment -fixed at confinement in the penitentiary for life. Late in the afternoon of July 9, 1918, the dead body of a human being was found on the east bank of the Cumberland river, near the city -of Pineville.
