This consolidated appeal arises from a medical malpractice lawsuit initiated by Lloyd A. Southwood (“Southwood”), as the administrator for the Estate of Helen South-wood, against David Carlson, M.D., Evansville Surgical Associates, P.K. Bhatt, M.D., and Deaconess Hospital (“the Health Care Providers”). Southwood appeals from the trial court’s grant of summary judgment in favor of the Health Care Providers.
