Defendant Johnson was convicted of aggravated robbery, aggravated assault, and theft. Johnson appeals, seeking reversal of his conviction and a new trial. Four issues are presented on appeal: (1) whether the search of Johnson’s automobile went beyond the constitutional scope of an inventory search, (2) whether there was sufficient evidence with which to convict Johnson of aggravated assault, (3) whether a jury instruction regarding the possession of stolen property unconstitutionally shifted the burden of proof to Johnson, and (4) whether, under the…
