Upon petition filed on behalf of George Shaffer by one Frank Stewart, a writ of habeas cc>rpus was issued directed to the *612warden of the state prison of Deer Lodge, to ascertain whether George Shaffer is lawfully detained as a prisoner. Later, upon petition of the attorney general, a writ of review was issued in aid of the proceedings in habeas corpus.
