*664In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, etc., the defendant appeals from an order of the Supreme Court, Suffolk County (Doyle, J.), entered May 11, 2007, which denied its motion for summary judgment dismissing the complaint.

Ordered that the order is reversed, on the law, with costs, and the motion for summary judgment dismissing the complaint is granted.

The infant plaintiff allegedly was injured while in the presence of her mother when she fell from a piece of playground equipment known as a “glider” in a public park operated by the defendant. The plaintiffs thereafter…
