Plaintiffs, Delays Brock and Sharilyn Brock, filed the above-captioned action against Chevron Chemical Company (“Chevron”) for injuries allegedly sustained by Delays Brock on August 28, 1989, when he slipped and fell in oil or grease at Chevron's Oak Point plant near Belle Chasse, Louisiana. At the time of his alleged acci dent, Mr. Brock was working as a fire-watch hand for J.E. Merit Constructors, Inc. (“J.E.
