In this case six named plaintiffs, then men sentenced to death under the applicable provisions of Florida law, caused to be filed on April 3, 1967, through their attorneys, a petition for writ of habeas corpus and other appropriate relief pursuant, explicitly, to 28 U.S.C. § 2241(e)(3) and, implicitly, to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. The petition was jointly executed by the named petitioners who each caused his signature to be affixed to the petition.
