RAMSEY, Judge.

This appeal is prosecuted from a judgment of conviction for the offense of murder in the second degree had in the District Court of Mason County, Texas, on March 11, of this year by which appellant suffered punishment at confinement in the penitentiary for a term of twenty-five years. There are a number of questions raised in the case, and in view of all the circumstances and many contradictions, and the peculiar character of the case, a rather fuller statement will be given than might ordinarily be deemed sufficient.
