HUFF, Judge.

Jayquane D. Perry (“appellant”) appeals his conviction of possession of a firearm after having been adjudicated delinquent of an act which would be a felony if committed by an adult, in violation of Code § 18.2-308.2. Following a jury trial in the Circuit Court of the City of Norfolk (“trial court”), appellant was sentenced to five years in prison.
