Mound City Finance Co. v. Frank

This is an action in replevin, commenced before a justice of the peace in St. Louis County, on May 15, 1940, for the possession of an automobile. The automobile was taken from defendant's possession under the writ of replevin, but he furnished bond and repossessed the automobile. On appeal from the justice there was a trial anew in the circuit court, without a jury, which resulted in a judgment for plaintiff. Defendant appeals.
