Original Proceeding.

BLAND, J.

This is an original proceeding in habeas corpus. The petition for the writ alleges that the petitioner is unlawfully deprived of his liberty by the sheriff of Jackson county, Missouri, by virtue of an order made by the judge of the probate court of that county, purporting to commit the petitioner to the county jail until he should pay the sum of $4512.94 to Ben R.
