This case involves a default judgment entered in favor of appellees and from which appellant Watling Ladder Company (Watling) appeals. Watling raises five issues for reversal, but we believe only two have merit: (1) Whether the answer filed by Watling’s co-defendant, P.C. Hardware, would inure to the benefit of Watling; (2) Whether the answer of Watling was timely filed in view of Rule 4 of the Arkansas Rules of Civil Procedure and the circumstances surrounding the commencement of this action. Both of these issues involve questions of first impression in Arkansas.
