I, Appellant Gary Crawford, a prisoner incarcerated in the Arkansas Department of Correction, filed a pro se petition for declaratory judgment and writ of mandamus in the Chicot County Circuit Court. Appellant argued that he was entitled to better living conditions and a better work assignment based on his classification as a Class I-C inmate. The trial court dismissed the petition with prejudice, and appellant has lodged an appeal of that order in this court.
