Ward E. Hedger was. found guilty of the murder in the first degree of his wife, Louise J., committed on September 9, 1909. On February 7, 1910, he was sentenced- to imprisonment in the state prison for the full period *283of bis natural life. After judgment and sentence be moved for a new trial upon newly discovered evidence, and bis motion was denied.
