These consolidated appeals, three in number, concern the estates of one conservator and two guardians. In each matter the principal question for determination involves the right of guardians and conservators to invest and the power of the probate court in such cases to authorize the investment of funds of such estates in 1 ‘ split mortgage securities. ’ ’ In each matter the questions were raised by objections of a guardian ad litem to the final report in the probate court.
