OPINION OF THE COURT

BURD, Senior Judge:

On 17 October 2000, the appellant was tried by general court-martial composed of a military judge sitting alone at Keesler Air Force Base (AFB), Mississippi. Consistent with his pleas, he was found guilty of distribution and use, both on divers occasions, of methylenedioxymethamphetamine (ecstasy), in violation of Article 112a, UCMJ, 10 U.S.C. § 912a, and willfully disobeying and being disrespectful in deportment toward a superi- or noncommissioned officer, in violation of Article 91, UCMJ, 10 U.S.C. § 891.
