The statements of the complainants’ bill, so far as it is necessary to consider of them in disposing of the demurrer, are, that on the 7th of October, 1837, they purchased of an Indian woman, by the name of Ta-na-cha, a tract of land, being section 20, town. 3, range 2, west, which she claimed as a reservation, under the sixth article of the Chickasaw treaty of May, 1834.
