This action was originally brought in the circuit court of the state of Virginia for the county of Franklin,, and removed into this court upon the petition of the defendant company; the plaintiff: being a citizen and resident of the state of Virginia, and the defendant a corporation under the laws of the' state of Pennsylvania, and having its principal office in that state..
