The Chancellor.

The complainant is the holder of two-several mortgages against Todd,—the first dated September 12, 1860, being for $3,000; and the second dated April 19, 1870, being also for the sum of $3,000.

The premises mentioned in the first mortgage have been sold by the sheriff for the sum of $3,825, and the premises-*260mentioned in the second mortgage have also been sold by the sheriff for the sum of $2,035. Besides the lien of these two mortgages, there was a judgment in the Superior Court in and for Kent County, in favor of Emanuel J. Stout, against William A. Atkinson and Henry Todd,…
