This is a suit by Mrs. Bindley and her husband to recover damages for alleged slander, assault, and false imprisonment.
Briefly stated, the evidence in behalf of the plaintiffs is to the following effect:
At about 1:30 p. m. on October 22, 1928, Mrs. Bindley, accompanied by a Mrs. Parks, entered the Kress & Company store in Houston. Mrs. Bindley there purchased a paper shopping bag, which she delivered to Mrs. Parks. They then went to several of the counters in the store.
