Plaintiff initiated this case as a class action under ORCP 32. Plaintiff, a former employee of defendant Salomon Smith Barney, Inc. (Smith Barney), contends that Smith Barney wrongfully withheld wages owed to her and to others similarly situated after their employment ended. Smith Barney moved to compel arbitration pursuant to a provision in its employment agreement with plaintiff.
