After defendant’s application for enrollment in the Pretrial Intervention Program (“PTI”) was denied in June 1996, he pled guilty to a count of an indictment charging him with distribution of marijuana in a school zone.1 Defendant was sentenced to four years in the custody of the Commissioner of Corrections with one year before parole eligibility.
