Allied Products Company (Allied) petitions for review of a decision of the Federal Mine Safety and Health Review Commis sion (commission) which adopted the assessment by one of the commission’s administrative law judges of $25,000 in civil penalties against Allied. The penalties were assessed for violations of the Federal Mine Safety and Health Act of 1977 (act), Pub. L.No. 95-164, 91 Stat. 1290, 30 U.S.C. §§ 801 et seq. (Supp. Ill 1980), discovered by an inspection of Allied’s Montevallo Lime Plant, a limestone quarry and mill in Shelby County, Alabama, following an accident…
