We granted certiorari to review People v. Roelker, 780 P.2d 17 (Colo.App.1989). We affirm.

Darrell Roelker was charged in an information with aggravated incest. Section 18-6-302, 8B C.R.S. (1987). He was found guilty by a jury and sentenced to four years in the department of corrections. Two errors are asserted as grounds for reversal. Roelker asserts that the trial court failed to comply with People v. Curtis, 681 P.2d 504 (Colo.1984), by permitting defense counsel to waive Roelker’s constitutional right to testify and without determining whether Roelker desired to waive his right to testify.…
