Jones was tried before a jury on the charge of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. He was acquitted on the charge of intent to distribute, and convicted of the lesser included offense of pos session of cocaine. Jones appeals from the judgment entered on the jury verdict.

Two police officers patrolling in a high crime and drug activity area repeatedly told Jones to leave a street corner where he had been standing and where “no loitering” signs were posted in the vicinity.
