This is a criminal complaint charging the defendant with operating an automobile on November 5, 1955 on Waterman avenue, a highway of this state in the town of East Providence, “recklessly, so as to endanger the lives or safety of the public.” The complaint is dated November 6, 1955. After the defendant’s motion to quash was denied and his demurrer to the complaint was overruled, the case was tried before a justice of the superior court sitting with a jury.
